How much knock is ok

I have been trying to find out what is normal number for Knock at WOT on the Highway I am getting up to 5 Degrees acording to the Aeroforce. I have the HEaders on now and it seems it takes longer to get to 5 at WOT but it still gets there. I know that I need to do the FWI to help that out but should I be worried about 5 degrees. In town it does not have any knock only on the High way is that weird?????
 


not weird, extended periods of higher rpm equals more heat., more knock. remember, knock in one way or form is caused by heat alone.
 
just the headers right now. Is 5 Degrees ok for a number at WOT on the highway or is there something wrong
 


on a stock pulley 5* aint bad. if you were seeing 5* on a 3.0 pulley then youre asking for a blown motor. on small pullies where youre running more boost you want to have as little knock as possible.

i bet with the headers you just leaned your car out a little bit and you need a tune to compensate. i bet with a good tune youd have no knock at all.
 
X2...you need a tune. There is a guy around here running headers, 1.9 modded rockers, and a FWI and runs 13's...and has a tweaked DHP PCM. No KR at all. On pump 91.
 
Yes I am running 93 and I know I need a tune the plan is FWI and Overkill PCM the 3.4 pully cause I have no idea how to tune myself and do not have the money for a tuner.

Sounds good just throw some new plugs and a 180 tstat and you should be good. Maybe change out your sparkplug wires if they are still original.

Good deal there^^

Just make sure to do all of the other mods before the pulley IMO. Shift Kits are nice too as they make it easier on the hard parts on the tranny and they are relatively cheap at $100 or less give or take. Plus your tranny will shift a lot faster...and that is sweet in my book :D Also, I say eventually get your stock Throttle Body and Supercharger Ported (Inlet and Outlet) and that will make for one quick DD. After all that you could do IC and rockers and a 2.6" knock free with another tune and bigger injectors ;) And it won't bother driveability one bit like cams do lol
