bought my 99 gt for 2,500 with 110k

threw endless amounts of money at it prolly 10g's if you counted up everything

sold it for 1,100 with 165k

Most of us already know prior to modding that there's a rare chance your getting your money back unless you sell it to someone that's willing to pay for the mods your added or demoding it and selling it near stock


I never mind the money I put into it it is a great car and I still enjoy it and its paid off so that's a huge +
 
i paid just over 11000 this last august with 42000 miles on it...ive got about a 1k of things added and or new parts and wouldnt sell it for less than 15k just cause the dealer originally wanted more than that and my Delilah is definitely worth more than i paid
 
2100. 175k with newly overhauled tranny with about 3k on it now.
probably put around 800 in it so far. needs some touch up and a fender and a bumper.
its not worth this much market value but i really like it so it would take 4000 at least.
 


I got my GTP for 1k, dude wanted 1800. It had 150K. I have put probably about 3-3500 in it? Got it, had to tear it down, get new heads, head gasket kit, got a 40th spoiler off the forums, front bumper cover, rear bumper cover, JY engine when the original went up on me, paint job, tips, projectors...I think thats it lol.

Edit: forgot to put how much I'd sell it for lol. I would sell it for 8k lol. I know I would NEVER get that and that's ok by me because I don't want it going anywhere :)
 
Forgot to add I bought the car w/ 44k miles has around 89k now last time I bothered checking

Trade in value was still pretty decent last time I checked a year or so back but I rather keep it and get a second car if it came down to that.

I've been asked several times in the past if I wanted to sell it and straight up said it'll have to be a pretty good amount for me not to say no. Around $10k and you can have it and ill start over :) to many blood/sweat/and tears has gone into it for me to just let it go for nothing
 
Bought mine new for $24K in 2000

Put about about $35K+ into it over the past 13 years. All worth it.

To add to it most newer cars don't impress me especially getting myself into another loan for 4+ years and not being completely happy ill pass unless its a gto or g8.
 
They're starting to hard to find now a days within a good price w/o a ton of miles. When the time comes and I'm back on my feet and I'm ready to make that commitment again ill look for one. It'll be a weekend toy and not much of a DD this time around
 
2005 gtp comp brought her new in 05 35k noe ill let her go with mods 14.5 30k engine tranmiision rebuilt everythin pretty much a 2013 model over 8000 in mods

Put ? into fixing it, planning for more.

I have more comfort than most new cars LOL, 06 Leather Seats, Remote Start, Bluetooth Radio, Dark Tint and roomy interior. I know people with new cars that don't have as many features as my 98 hahaha.

Will not sell, most likely hand it to my son when he gets older.
 
2800 for 230k miles on 97 gtp, sold with hail damage at 250k for 3200 with hail damage. Kid just liked the rims. oh well That helped with the DP on the GXP which had 98k when i got it. I paid 10500 after everthing.

2000 gtp 4 door bought for $3,900 guy wanted $5,800 79,900 and have put about $500 in new carpet and head/tail lights and I am hoping to keep her until she is far past gone aka for the 3.8 forever
