I swapped in another used tranny, and put in a new torque converter.. How much fluid should I initially add after a pan drop + new torque converter (counting what I prefilled in the converter)?

I would start with 6. I think you'll need 8-10 when all is said and done.

when doing just a pan drop thats 8 quarts. so maybe a bit more if the tc is not filled up all the way.
