how much can it hold?

i just bought my 08 gxp last week and iam looking into up grades ... but i have had lots of issues with front wheel drive trannys, what will this transmission do, how much power will it hold and how far can i push it befor i need t throw down the cash to make it hard...
 


They can handle alot, if you treat it right.

one wheel wonders and burnouts will destroy them faster.

Only downer for you is that you have a GXP and mods for them are very $$$, but if you got the money then that aint a problem.

If you are thinking about putting alot more power into the car, I would 100% recommend buying or at least look into buying a Triple Edge Performance Tranny. They make one of the best upgraded trannys for these cars.
 
Well for the most part I'm looking at a diablo programmer, exhaust, and cold air..the car is pretty fast as it is...i just want to hang with z28's and rape mustangs...mabey a lil juice just to piss off some locals....nothing big...but big problem is that I still have a factory warranty..and I can't screw that off yet...I'm told the programmer can set every thing back to stock and gm wouldn't even know about it....any info on that

Diablo dosent make a programer for our cars...Hp tuner, super chip.
 
If you have a history of front wheel drive issues, call Dave and order now.

Your trans isn't going to take much abuse.
 
I've never bought from Triple Edge myself, but I will in the future, since I've never heard a single negative thing about the guy, seems like he really knows his way around a transmission and everything involved.
