The Amsoil information I have for a dry fill jives with the alldata info. So you are going to need at least another gallon.

I'm guessing its considered dry so ill probably need 2 more gallons, because each gallon is 3.7 somthing liters.

It would be cheaper that way but idk where i can get it at, Maybe at a dealership but then its gonna be expensive. They only sell it my the gallons at zzp.

You should be able to get Dexron VI fluid at most car parts stores. I bought a case of Valvoline Dexron VI fluid over a year ago at the local NAPA. It was only $3.89 a quart. I know all the stores around me have Dexron VI fluid in varying brands.

would it be ok to mix it with my gm care dextron6 its the same stuff right ? lol stupid question.

Yup, there is no problem mixing different brands of Dexron VI ATF. No different than changing your oil with Castrol 5W30, and then topping it off with some Valvoline 5W30 that your dad had in the garage.

Ok cool. So i have 2 gallons right now and all i need left is? To completley fill my bone dry tranny. Haha im way to tired to do conversions and adding lol.

Just as the charge Scotty posted above you will need roughly 13.4 quarts if the trans and converter are dry. This number will vary slightly but 13 is pretty much rule of thumb.

Four quarts = 1 gallon.

You have 2 gallons = 8 quarts.

You need at least 6 more quarts. Or one more gallon and 2 quarts. Or 1.5 gallons.

The convertor on a rebuilt trans is never dry like there saying it is pre filled with a small amount of fluid when shipped. I'd get 15 qts or trans fluid to be safe incase of spillage.
