How many BOV's on turbo intercooler setup

No... Just 1 I would recommend reading up on how a BOV actually works, then you will understand

i asked because i have z7 turbo and just got over sized intercooler....on zz websight it shows 1 on the intercooler side and one on the exhaust side.... confused...?

Thanks for clearing that up just bought intercooler and the bov may fix my stalling problem when getting off boost to fast

ha ha wastegate is for controlling boost by limiting exhaust flow into the turbo, when wastgate is closed (normal position) it lets all exhaust go straight to turbo and when rpm's go up turbo works harder and creates boost until a desired boost level then the wastegate slowly opens to keep boost at desired level and when you lot off gas the wategate closes again and thats when the blow off valve kicks in and will see vacuum and open up to vent excess air in charge pipes. reason for blow off valve is to keep your compressor from surging (basically turbine wheel will bounce back and forth very fast and will inhibit a broken shaft) and to relive pressure off throttle body plate and rod.

i always thought it was to let the hot air out of the system between gear shifts. tisk tisk... so many misinforming people on the internet these days :P
