How long will you keep your car?

My fiancee thinks I'm crazy because I want to keep my GP til the day I die. Replacing things as needed, and rebuilding as needed. I know I'm not crazy because I'm extremely attached to my GP! Obviously I'll have something newer as well.

So how long do you plan to keep yours?

Pontiac's are clearly gonna be collectors items later in life, so I'm keeping my 94 GXP as long as possible =)
 
two more months hopefully. when i find out if i have a full time position at this company or not is when this car stays for a little longer or goes to a new home. im done with this car.

i want something built nicer.
 
Im not sure how long id keep mine, if anything id demod/sell but still stick with the w-body family.

It will probably take you more than 4 years to get through "collage" with that spelling! :th_laugh-lol3: *Sorry, just too funny!

This car will be here another year or so, until the wife gets bored with it and we either get a nicer car, or something for a future family.
 


im gonna keep mine for as long as possible. hopefully for the rest of my life. i love the thing to death. when the motor goes ill just buy a new one and put my mods on it. and next on the list i think is a 3EP trans for me
 
I am planning on having it forever. It is already paid for and it is a third car for us. I just need to convince the wife to let me keep it and buy the G8.

might be longer than 4 yrs if ur spelling college " collage " :th_shakinghead1: but i will have my GTP more than likely until its not driveable or gets to be to much to fix.

I plan on keeping my white one forever. It was one of my dream cars I always wanted and i've pretty much built it my way and I cannot complain. Its repayed me by being a good solid car without any problems.

Black one, i'm not sure on it. Its been a good car too, if I can keep it around I will.

My TB SS ranks up there with my White GTP.

If I play my cards correctly, hopefully i'll eventully own most of my dreams cars, buy some land, build a nice house, and build a nice building to store my cars.....
 
I have only had my Gxp for 4 months and already did 20k damage to it. Now I have to keep it because nobody else will want it.
 
i'll probably keep mine another few years. i'm going to want an older car to restore, and a silverado or colorado as a DD probably.
 


Unless I hit the lottery and get the Ferrari F430 Challenge I want...then I'll have it until it rusts off the frame.

Then I'll do a frame off restoration :D
 
Love my GP but I want a newer ws6 trans am so bad. Everytime one goes past I drool. Hehe! I will probaly keep the gp and if I get something else I will just drop the tags and insurance and leave it in the back yard for another day.
 
I have a trans am and would rather drive my Gxp. Trans-am is wicked fast and fun, but blowing the doors off mustangs in a 4dr sedan is soooo much fun
