How long do L36 Fuel pumps last in an L67 before....

It craps out and starts messing up and needs replacement? I still have an l36 fuel pump and never upgraded it when i did my engine swap. I am getting an p452 code. Could the l36 pump be causing it? Im not getting any knock but can an l36 cause knock in an L67?

Matt..ur supposed to let him type Google... lol Thanks though.

Sensor low voltage doesn't mean bad fuel pump. It means the sensor has low voltage.

mine never wore out. why would it just burn up unless youre running it ragged? you're not even close to where you'd need a higher flowing pump.

I am resurrecting this thread, but when would one need a higher flowing pump? Is the stock L67 pump higher flowing than the L36 pump? I am about to top swap an 04 Regal LS while installing a VS cam, headers, Gen V, 42 lb injectors, and Ported TB all at the same time.

you probably won't need it.

keep an eye on fuel pressures to see if they drop off up top, but the most likely answer is no.
