Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

how high are your gp's miles

almost 70k had 58k on it when i got it in march..the one thing i hate about the 97-03 gps is you have to stare at the miles add up while you drive it id much prefer it not be in your face all the time like the newer ones

Had a 1997 GTP with 207,000 miles when i got rid of it in 2006,
and the 2004 GTP just rolled over 119,000 the other day.

My ex's 98 GT had 224,000(or close) on it and it was stock engine and tranny. Both ran fine. I was driven alot on the highway where she would put 100+ miles a day on it(sometimes more) I did 99% of the maintenance making sure oil was changed every 10,000 miles(used amsoil rated for like 30,000miles), tranny fluid and filter changed every 45000-50000, and coolant flushed every 50,000. Other than that just your basic parts going bad.

I have a 96 gp se with 125XXX on the orignal trans and about 8000 on rebuilt motor. everybody i have talked to said that the bodies will go before the motor or trans will. i rebuilt the engin bc of cam shaft bearing. other than that no major issue. (knock on wood)

Those miles are all from the original owner. They drove around 100 miles a day to and from work. I just got the car 2 weeks ago.

Just under 260k miles on my '98. Transmission was replaced at 26k miles under warranty.

At the last Buick Factory 36 reunion in Flint, MI (where the 3800's were built) several people had over 400,000 miles on their motors with no re-builds.
