How far have you travelled?

Re: How far have you traveled?

I just got back from Yuma, AZ for work. Drove down from Edmonton, AB over a period of four days to get to Yuma. Was driving a 5 ton straight truck. One thing is for sure is the cup sizes in the States is bigger then the Canadian version for soft drinks.

In the past six months I have done a big triangle of traveling. Up north to Inuvik, NWT, (flight)then east to Toronto, ON, (flight), then south to Yuma, AZ, (drove)

Re: How far have you traveled?

XM OR Sirius same thing these days, same price. its satellite radio so you get the same channels where ever you go. they have a easy 10 channels that will appeal to you, they play every kind of music out there, commercial free, no talking, and all digital sound quality.

FM has taken a huge dump in the NY area, and my last job took me into maryland which has no radio stations at all. maybe 3 that fade in and out for a few miles up and down 95.

i have a spare install set up, so i can set up a temp install on any car or truck in 5 minutes or less. XM on the go....had all the wires in the work truck, then took the unit out and put it in my car, back in the truck the next morning.

Re: How far have you traveled?

michigan to florida then from florida to atlanta got in an accident so had to take a greyhound from downtown atlanta to indy which was the worst ride ever

Re: How far have you traveled?

I've flown to the Bahamas, not sure on the flight time and I'm too lazy to Google it. I would estimate it was about 4-1/2 hours. Pretty weak in comparison to most.

I Just took my first 'road trip' in my grand prix though. St. Paul, MN to Cedar Rapids, IA. 292 miles one direction. I'm down on a business trip so I can expense out the mileage and time traveled. Woo!!
