How does this sound?.....
Im going to get the 2.5'' downpipe (u-bend delet, mag cat) keep the stock mufflers but im not sure if i want to keep the resonator or take it off or will that make my stock exhust sound like s*** cause i like the current sound now
PS i dont know what the res will do
 




Ya still think i will delet the cat the u bend and the resisnator. I just want it to sound mean.
 
dohner did you ever delete that stuff? how's it sound and do you have the stock mufflers, you should try and get some sound clips
 
I've heard plenty of 3800's with no cat and frankly I think it sounds like ass. The cat isn't hardly any impedance to flow (unless clogged) so why bother? Get an aftermarket or something.
 


GOINDEF sorry i didnt get back to you sooner but no i havent deleted those yet. Ran into some money issues. I would love to do it i am trying to scrape around the money to do it all. Have you done yours let me know.
 
I'm going to be puttin new mufflers on next week, and the ubend delete once i get the 02 simulator, but I'm still iffie on the resonator.
 
What mufflers you going with. Dose the brand of mufflers have a sound clip on web site if they even have a web site.
 
im going to swap out my dynomax turbos for stock mufflers. so it will be plog, pem, 2.5inch racepipe, dynomax res and stock muffs, i might go with a spiral flow, im having a custom 2.5 inch system made
 


Dang they look pretty sweet. I was actually looking at some of those also or some like it. Let me know how they sound when you get it done.
 
welp hopefully tomorrow I'll be getting the mufflers put on, I'll let you guys know how they sound and take some pics, later
 
Just thought I'd let you guys know, the mufflers that I told you about that I bought from ebay, are amazing, they look great in person and sound incredible, very deep rumble, now i just have to get rid of the cat and ubend. very very pleased with the mufflers.
