how does the zzp catback sound?

I was looking at zzp's stainless 3 inch catback with whisper resonator and looks like it is good quality. does anyone know how this sounds with headers? on my old gtp i had a slp powerflo caback with a 3 inch catted downpipe, but i wasnt really happy with its blatty sound at higher rpms... anyway, got opinions?

Any 3800 will get raspy at hi RPM. I have not herd of anyone with the ZZP cat back. Looks nice tho. I have thought about getting one of their whisper resonators.

yea it wasnt a bad exhaust, just feel like i wanna try something different. with the whisper resonator and turbo mufflers it would still be very loud? i want it to be somewhat loud, but still have a nice tone thats my thing

if you do anything just replace the mufflers. leave everything else there.

depending upon which mufflers you get they may drone a lot as well. stay away from flowmasters, i hated mine.

ok sounds like a plan for when i do my exhaust. gonna save up and get s+s headers and the zzp catback! might take a while but with tax return and a couple more paychecks i should be set!!!

Guess he wants to spend more money than he needs to. I agree with you though. Change the mufflers for tone and the rest stock is more than enough to get the job done.
