How does Alternator come off?

08 grand prix 3.8NA .... Took off overflow tank.... Released tensioner....took off alternator connector and three bolts holding alternator down (had to remove stabilizer bar from alternator)... Now can't get clip off!!!?!!! Here

Took out blue locking piece and black tab was already partially broken .... Now I'm left with this...

Any tips on how to get this connector off???

Wedge something under it and pry up while being careful.

Thats what I would try and do, it can only come up on that style connector.

Ouch definitely not an easy fix on this one guys make sure you check your coils because if they crack it will short out your ignition control module and your crank position sensor and it is definitely a big project and about $200+ in parts.... My Ignition coil cracked and shorted out the icm and the crank sensor plus need a new coil... No start no spark condition grrr

Tell me about it...had the HB warp and take out my CPS and around the same time had the ICM shorten out on me.
