i have ordered a new one and ive been trying to see if there is an easy way of replacing them. they both burnt out so i have no way of charging anything. anybody done this yet?

They don't often "burn out." There's not much current going through them, compared to cigarette lighters. More often than not they corrode, short out, then blow the fuse.

If I recall, there's a couple of retaining clips that need to be pushed in. Get new trim rings. That's what they clip into and you will probably hog up at least one ring.

i mean. they dont have power going through them at all. they have power up to the clip but not through the socket itself.

is there a tool that can help in the removal of these? and where do i get those clips?

Really depends on how they are put in. Some screwed in.. some clipped in.. some you destroyed to get out.. like on a Reeeeeegal
