meh on that advice, gtps have higher insurance if that matters, but theyre factory supercharged.
top swaps have theyre own problem
for those of you who to swapped, how did you go about it.
motor swap
kit
junk yard motor and swapped parts over
trade car
and approximate cost if you dont mind. im just trying to find the best way to go about it. mechanics is not a problem here.
Honestly dude just go get a GTP... You will be happier in the end.

easiest thing to do is to do a full motor and trans swap with the PCM and wiring harness to complement it.
any of the other combinations you NEED to get your car tuned.
I'm gonna have to disagree and say it's easier to swap a motor and trans vs ripping your motor down and putting it all back together.
Motor swap isn't a top swap. neither is trading your car.

I paid more for insurance on my 02 Impala normally aspirated than I do for my supercharged 04 Comp G
Purchased a modded LIM and a Blower, and injectors. Tuned the PCM and put it on.... Still on the stock GT heads.
why to have to be so specific. top swap, motor swap, or trading all have one thing in common......supercharger. i know what a top swap is. title should have been..."how did you go about supercharging" i guess
ZZP has a kit that modifies the LIM to accept injectors and uses an offset pulley to use only on belt. It is expensive and doesn't give you much room to drop on pullies if that's your plan.
