Hello, i was wondering how cheap someone could do a top swap? im on a bit of a budget, and im thinking that with goin to the junkyard and finding deals, im sure i could bring it down. what would you say is the cheapest someone could do the swap? Thanks!

ive sold my lim tb sc fuel rail injectors for 200-260 mid range for two different setups... heads and pullies left.. soo id say you can do one for 400-500 bucks.. IMO

dont forget the price of tuning in order to get a topswapped vehicle running properly. factor that in with your hard parts :)

you can find better deals. Look on craigslist for this stuff. I got a REBUILT supercharger, LIM, TB, rails and injectors for $100. Heads I got for $110, still have to get them checked out to be safe. Still have a few odds and ends to get. Im Looking for between $500-$600 with headers. You just have to take your time and look for the deals.

ok thanks! im saving up and looking to start buying during the summer. Its either a top swap, or getting a dsm, and i have a feeling the dsm will be a much larger money hole.

i had a full top swap, TEP cam, 130# valve springs, modded retainers, OER lifters and pushrods for $500.

i know, im a boss.

Friend of mine sold me heads supercharger tensioner idler LIM 4 $80 saving up now to et the rest of the things now, im on a budget to so I feel u man

Find your local installer. He'll likely have most of the parts laying around in the way at some point. If you are patient, you could likely get them for nothing.

Each time I do a motor swap, there's typically a full setup of stuff laying around that either hits the overloaded shelf or lands in the scrap pile.

Just sayin..if I wan't BillBoost, that's how I'd do it.

I install stuff. So from an install standpoint. You need to find someone willing to give up about 8 or so hours of time for a good price. Thing there is..you want them to take more time and do it their best.
