• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

hey i'm very interested in buying an F.1 hood for my 1997 grand prix GT. my car is white so i'm wondering if you could paint it for me too. i'll give you the paint codes if you need them. is this possible? and how much would it be about? hopefully a good price. thanks a lot.

if bad1999gtp has them still for sale until spring-summer i'll def et one. money's going to my vs cam swap first. keep us posted on the finished product man. hope your girl gets better soon.

Great to hear someone is doing this. American sports car design was the only site I knew of with a variety of hoods, but since the owner passed away the site has been down. Doesnt look like they are staying in business.
As for the question my preference is the WS6 hood. I just bought one froma de-modding project. The inferno hood for the 97-03 would be another fav of mine.
Good luck, I hope you have sucess making the hoods.:th_sign-cooool:

looking forward to these, would you take a core? im close enough to bring it to ya, its not in the best shape but hell its good

the reson decided to do this is because i have found that they can be made cheaper then they are being sold. i have noticed that they are selling for 600 a pop and it only cost about 200 to make 3 hoods.

Got to love cost and marked up retail for profit. Not a lot that goes into making a hood, but you pay for quality on many of them where as the other ones out there are slapped together so fast, they have a 2% chance of fitting right and looking good.

You would have a good following if you can meet the demand.

Looking forward to seeing pics of your work, but no rush. Sorry to hear of your family's run if misfortune. GPF isn't going anywhere. Wish you and your family all the best and keep up the good work on the cars when you can.

Very interested

I'm 99.44% sure I'd want a WS6 style for an '04+

2004 GTP Comp-G - Black - Wouldn't need my hood if I bought yours

Willing to drive or meet from NW Illinois

hey guys here are a few pics of the hood i did for my trans am. it is a ram air hood. and you can see in the pics it is not even in primer yet. the gp hood is in the booth and being sprayed tomorrow with primer. and beleive me guys there has been some long hours to get these hoods to look like this and need little prep work. so give me input and remember these are all hand made.
