hood scoops

how many scoops?

so im going to make a custom hood for a final project in my metal working class. the question is 1 or 2 scoops. i know everybody has 2 scoops, but would 1 scoop look good if it was wide?
and length im unsure about.
so any imput would be good!
 


i dont think i have ever seen a gp with only 1 scoop
its usually the ram air ws6 style so my vote is on get a spair hood and try the single scoop and post pics so i can see =]

Who cares about functionality? Just make it look good. I would try one scoop because I'm trying to see what you could do with two scoops that already hasn't been done, and I can't think of many that would look good on the lines of the GP..
 


I had always thought that a single NACA duct over the drivers headlight in the hood would be functional but could'nt decide if it would look right. Sometimes ugly can look good if it is functional. :th_winking:
 
There are a few single scoop styles out there... There is the SLP one and a few "SS" styled ones... both look weird sithe the lower bumper having 2 openings and the 2 nostrills up top.

Be original. Be bold. Make a sd hood and nobody will appreciate the work you pit into it since everybody has one and so on.
