hood painting?

i got a red 98 gt and a buddy and i are gonna re-spray it this summer since the idiot before me got the whole front end painted with the wrong code of red.

i am thinking about doing a thick black(flat or gloss) hood stripe along with the front and rear bumper inserts.

my ? is about how the stripe would look on a gp and if anyone has done this, did they like it and could u post pics.

tell me what u think.
 


stripes are good. i was really worried when you said flat black..but you meant the stripes, that's cool. if it was the hole car i would have been saying: "NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
 
ya im thinking about one stripe sitting just inside where the hood flares up, down just before or to the end of the hood .
 
are you going to do the roof too? or just the hood and trunk. depending upon the stripes both could look good.
