hood clearance

If I have a full sizedic and wanted to lower the car the right way and raise cradle, can I run a sd hood or do I need the high rised cowl hood?

How far are you planning on raising the cradle?

you cant raise the entire subframe, there is no where for it to go up. you have to space up the motor and transmission from the subframe. you do this by putting spacers below the mounts themselves, or between the mount and the motor/trans.

you can always put a couple shims under the hood latch brackets to raise the hood up a little bit. this will usually give you an extra inch of hood clearance.

Trim the under hood supports. That'll get you some clearance.

Opps yes raise the engine sorry. But I might stay oem height since I will have 22x8s. And some 18inch for my factory wheels. I was thinking cut the hood but was thinking the hood would be flimsy and need some reinforcing. Thanks again guys I'll figure something out.
