ok so, this 17 yr old kid in my town is talking all this shi*. He has an accord 98' with the typical fart can and euro's. He says his car can beat my best friends Evo wich is in the 11's, and hes telling everyone that hes got 35K into motor work and everything was ordered from "japan". I say thats :th_BSflag-small:. I caught a light with him one night, i wasnt looking to race at all because it was in front of a high school where alot of cops hide. Wasnt tryin to chance geting a ticket to some rice. He looks over gives me the my car will smoke urs look and takes off. He barely cherped first gear and the tires almost chirped second, gave that kind of scraping tire sound going into gear. So i called him out last night askin if he wanted to run for $100.00 cuz hes talkin all this shi*, saying he has the fastest car in town. He said he has to finish tuning his car bla bla bla. Im like yeah ok cool, finish your car "tuning" and let me know. Im pretty sure its just the stock D16Y8 motor out of the 96-00 honduh civic ex. I'll let u know when i take his money. I figure with the shift kit on the way and the mods i currently have i should be fine if im 1 door length behind my friends 08 civic si.

I like the way u think. I just found out tonight from one of his buddies he has an H22 swap, from a prelude. Hes saying hes in the 13's i say bull shi*. I mean ricers dont bother me until they open their fat mouths and start babaling about other peoples cars and things that they dont even know about.
 
if I was a ricer.... I'd totally beef up my car, act mexican, and talk trash all day long so people like you can offer to race for money. Then I'll say... "I need to tune my car"...and they'll say "you're chicken sh*t" and then I'll say "fine! up it to $1000 and it'll be worth it." They will then think about the big chunk no matter how confident they feel about beating my car, and they will try to say less, and I'll call them "chicken sh*t" and then finally race and blow their doors off taking my money home from a cocky racer.

They are out there! Be weary... not saying this H22 is that good, but he apparently spent the money to swap it, who knows what else he's done. I doubt he's done anything though. I'm not calling you cocky either, I was just ranting haha.

I had this happen to me from an elantra before.... jerk had the same engine as I did...

Haha I agree.....this sounds like when the douche in the civic si said if he had 93 octane he would have smoked me. Stupid ricers and their matchbox cars.
 


Just to let you know the V6 Accords aren't that slow. I raced one when I was stock with about 6-7* of KR and the accord held it's own pretty well till I slowly started pulling away. So seeing that you've only got a GT I'd be wary about betting if it's a V6.

Lol that's hilarious it had me cracking up too. Personally, if I owned an Accord I'd hang myself and hope in the next life that I got lucky and owned a GP :D.
 
I just learned that now supposidly its not a prelude H22 in it, "apparently" it now has a Accord Euro edition motor, which is a 2.0L JDM motor. :th_eyesrolling:

Ah he's one of these ricers who's on the whole JDM kick...:th_shakinghead2: The 96 -00 Accord euro type r edition only pushes 200hp and 144 ft/lbs. Even if he really did have that motor, you'd still spank him.
 


Eh.... I'm not a racist, haha. I come from a very diverse family and we all make racist comments to each other all the time because we are comfortable with each other and know we don't mean it. We turned stereotypes into a positive sort of. I told my stepmother the other day, who is black, that if they made a Restaurant that specialized in Fried Chicken and Watermelon meals I would probably be there all the time.... and I'm white! I wasn't lieing either... I mean seriously I think most people would love a joint like that!
