IM SO SICK OF ALL THESE 18 YEAR OLD BRATS DRIVING AROUND ERIE WITH THERE 40 DOLLAR FART MUFFLERS FROM AUTOZONE. DONT THESE KIDS REALIZE THEY SOUND LIKE CRAP. JUST BECAUSE THEY SAW FAST AND THE FURIUS WHEN THEY WERE 8 THEY THINK THEY LOOK COOL. I PULLED UP NEXT TO ONE A WEEK AGO AND TOLD HIM ID GIVE HIM 200 BUCKS IF HE BEAT ME TO THE NEXT LIGHT BUT IF HE LOST I COULD TAKE MY SAWSALL TO HIS MUFFLER HE DECLINED:th_stirthepot: DAMN THOSE MOVIES ANYWAYS REAL POWER STARTS WITH A GOOD BASE CAR
 


It happens everywhere. Altho they dont want to play with the SS, they think the impala is a undercover car...till I give a slight rev lol. I love the :th_wtf: look I get from ricers when the s/c is screaming as I pass by lmao.
 
Well..I was told by a PROBE owner I needed to get something better and cheaper...rmmm.........Im happy with my 4dr hope to be running 12s car! LOL
 
^^^ ha. gotta love when they talk **** like that. thats what the honda that i raced the other day told me. said whats the point of even trying to make a family car fast. i told him what i ran at the track and he says he never had his car to the track but knows it could run that time, maybe a little faster. you saw i walked off on him. they think just because it revs to 8k+ that its got to fast. idk. deff miss informed tho :D

ahhh the typical 3800 narrow mind....good base car? a civic is a great starter car, weighs nothing, do a B18 swap or a K20 swap for less than 2 grand and you have a very very VERRY fast car that the 3800 would only wish to hang with. yes there are kids who put a can on a DX and think its fast, but there are plenty of people who have done them right and they are very fast cars. anyone of you ever been in a Vtec car when it cracks at 8grand? to call every honda a ricer and to be so narrow minded is beyond me, majority of the cars out there will had the 3800 its ass, and then some
 
i prefer torque. i have been in a vtec car (gsr) hitting 8k. yea it revs hard but its not making any kind of real power. its also going to take more that just a swap to put a hurting on atleast a supercharged 3.8. well atleast my car.

the video i posted in the kill section i raced a 1.8 non vtec in a half way gutted hatch (no backseats) ported head, just rebuilt, SHORT gears, intake exhuast. i put about 4+ cars on him from a 40 hit. they just put a gsr (b18 motor-1.8 vtec) in a 92 integra (pretty small car) and when they race the two the non vtec car pulls it down low by a car or so then the vtec car starts to pull back by at 90 or so. by that time i would still be 4+ cars out on the vtec car. i would prove it but he wont race me. gotta wait till they put the turbo on it.

they can be made fast, just like any other car but its kind of far fetched to just say a motor swap is to much for a 3.8. yea that turbo car is going to give me a good run, hell he should beat me but im pretty much stock, and i dont want to hear crap about having a bigger motor because i got 1000 pounds on them. i respect what they do but there motors just dont make power, it needs some good mods to move out good.

torque wins you races, not vtec. ill take anyone of them to the track. hopefully the turbo gsr will be done soon
 


Just because its a Honda and has a swap means its a 12 sec car...... yeah right.

And yes, i've been in an 8k reving B18, i'm sorry, no hard on here.

And I know of a few B18s and K20s on the street, sorry but there not beating any 12 sec cars in the 1/4. All they can or want to race at is a 100 roll, thats gay IMO. If you're gonna race, do it in the 1/4 mile. I don't wanna wait a damn 1/2 mile to get some power, i'm asleep by then!

Also in my little street experiance it seems as if the boosted Hondas never stay togther long. At least not around here. I can think of at least 10 situations on the street where internal parts were meating the pavement. Don't get me wrong, i've seen a few BB go, SBCs, etc but not like them. And I don't really see them kicking any ass either.

Oh well, sell the GP, do your 2k Honda swap and beat every ZO6 in town since you can have a VERY VERY FAST CAR for no money at all. I'm sure its just as realible too. Lets face it all those guys who do those budget BB Fords, SB Ford, SBC, BBC, etc are all idiots. If they just go with a FWD Honda, they'd make soem SERIOUS power then. :th_gay-limpwrist:
 
Majority? I hate when someone uses that word. The fact is the majority of them are running around muffler, speakers and lights.

I find it hard to believe that you own a honda and a grand prix...
