Homemade forced air induction?

Just wondering if its possible to come up with something to force air to the intake.

Like a little blower battery powered with a switch on/off on the dash.

What do you think?

No. It's been done. they sell them on ebay and have been proven to give you worse hp

I'd sell the whole motor for $400. I don't want to part the motor out but I have almost a whole top swap laying in the garage.

What something like this as an intake can do?

Tornado
With promises of increased gas mileage and HP the Tornado is a total scam. It does nearly nothing and we have dyno tested it on a Dyno jet chassis dyno and it displayed a .5 HP loss.
Electric superchargers
Forget about it. Our supercharger dyno struggles to power an M90. The motor we use weighs about 400 pounds and draws 100,000 watts. That’s the equivalent of nearly dead shorting 10 Optima batteries in parallel! Do you really think a 120 watt fan is going to do anything? No. The only thing it will do is restrict the airflow your engine is trying to draw in.

It's been asked and talked about a thousand times before, a few people have dynoed this and saw small losses to hp... the m90 moves a huge amount of air compared to even a relatively powerful fan.

The video I watched, the guys rigged up an intake and fit 3 gasoline powered leaf blowers on full blast shoving air into the intake on the 4cylinder dyno car, and it made like .2 hp.

Edit: That thing probably moves slightly more air than a desk fan, what's the cfm on it?

Twin charge the engine... Simple really! Add supercharger... Then add turbo to supercharger intake!

:) :) :)

Lolz!

Read the sticky on how to mod a 3800 please

Those ebay "superchargers" just blow air, they don't actually compress it.

Good/funny watch on them
