• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

My intake is a massive pile of win. No need to take out my left friggin' headlight. No need to every do anything to it again actually. However, yours was cheaper, quicker, and probably involved far less colorful language. Good on ya!

and yours is all kinds of fail due to the ton of corrugated piping you use in order to make turbulent flow...

its the accordian part of your intake that you need to worry about, just go get a 3" pipe like these guys said and youll be good to go

Can I "pipe" in... yaya lame I know. Gotta say there are things i like about 97-03 and things I dont like also same can be said about the 04+. Living where I do, in the great white north, its hard to find older cars that aren't rusted out because of how much snow (so much salt thrown on our roads ugh) we get. Therefore newer = better for me and I landed a deal on my 05 when i got her. Love all GP's TBH :th_winking:

If you really want a 3.5", you could get a straight section of dryer vent piping from Home Depot or wherever. It's metal, smooth flowing, 3.5" but may be a little flimsy.

x2 rust sucks in ontario we get lots of it

Hell with it. I give up. Yah it's terrible. There must have been drinking involved with the idea that it would work well. Don't get me wrong, it works...I'm just sure there's better ideas out there. -_-

What?

Isn't that piping normally very smooth on the inside?

Also, you'd probably notice a faster ET with removing the foglight now.

Go out to the ford forum and get 3 from 7.3 and 3.5 from 6.0 couplers. Either way that filter setting where it tends to on most setups for these cars is just sucking in hot air, but that's an entirely different beat on horse.

Continue with the 97-03 better than thread.........
