I fail to see the problem. All hostilities were effectively brought to an end and justice was served. I would be happy to have them come here and protect these streets.
Everyone got what was coming to them in that video.

I was ok until he dragged the girl and dropped her on the pavement. That was uncalled for. Come to think of it clubbing her and spraying her was a bit much too.

Same here. That is absolutely ridiculous. But he will be on a paid leave. They will investigate and nothing will happen and he will be at it again somewhere else probably.:th_shakinghead2:
 
Whats the problem again?

He legitimately had a reason to use what little force he did. People aren't very logical when they are drunk enough to fight in the middle of a busy intersection.
 


Is it just me, and I know i'm pretty jaded, but did this look fake? I know it's all very hardcroe and cops are bad and all that side taking crap, and people love to pick sides and feel right... I get the allure... But has anyone ever actually handled a baton? The first hit on the guy in the video went totally unnoticed, and the following hits on him and the girl from overhand strikes did nothing to them... Either that video is somehow staged, or i'm so desensitized to violence nothing short of an exploding torso has a chance at getting me to give a crap... Can anyone confirm this to have happened the way it was presented? News story? Coverage?
 
If they were so high a metal tactical didn't phase them, i'm not even slightly mad at the cops for turning it up on them... :)
 
You gotta do what you gotta do when you're out numbered to keep control. The only issue I have is him hip throwing the chic he already sprayed. She was being compliant at that point. Unnecessary.
 


i understand where the officer was coming from in this video but i think he went a little over the top...especially when the one dude was layin down and he continued to hit him and then stepped on him....uncalled for....and hitting the girl multiple times was uncalled for also...i can understand a couple hits but damn. Also where he grabbed the chick at the end to bring her back probably wasn't "appropriate" and dropping her to the ground like that wasn't necessary either.

MORAL: Don't get drunk and fight in an intersection and youll be fine.
 
I agree my old roomate had a baton those are like solid steel with a solid steel ball on the tip with the diameter of a dime. High drunk or not that thing is putting you down with multiple shots to the legs and he chopped her arms with it at first. If it is real that was like watching someone playing Marvel v. Capcom 3 that was a serious combo strikes like crazy pepper spray then one mor body slam to finish them off CRAZY!!!!

Lol at the MvC3 reference. The girl getting dropped was a level 3 hyper combo ko.
