what the hell is that, he called it a pace car but i think it is one and it has special edition wheels?
am i missing something here or did they just piece a car together and call it a pace car?

Like Eddie, I have never seen a special ed in red...and aren't all the 40th's purple?

I say something happened and its been repainted.

the 40th is the 02 and only came in one color this is the special edition i only ever seen them in black and white my friends mom has one they come n/a or s/c, and "pace car" they say because its a replica of the nascar with the roof rails and wing like a nascar .

Does that mean I can slap rails, hood louvers, and the se spoiler on my car and call it a pace car and get $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ out of it?
It's a clean car, but I'm not impressed.

its all in the VIN these cars are different they have different trim, seats, door panels, exhaust tips, roof rails, shifter, spoiler and a few other things they are pretty nice. i have a bunch of parts on mine from a 40th anniversary and special edition check it out in my ride page

I know, I was trying to be sarcastic. (because that car obviously isn't a pace car)

this is actually a special edition it has the wheels and everything else i could be wrong but it would be alot of work to put all them parts into a regular GP it has everything the special edition has

Not to be a show off or anything but a pace car is usually high-performance automobile that leads a group of competing cars through the pace lap of a race but does not participate in the race. Witch GP's actually were at one point lol

I'm fully aware of what a pace car (and a replica) is.
Ones I have seen are the blue or white, not red.

Anyways, being a so called replica, its still way overpriced.

There are as follows for real pace cars. White, silver and red.

The replicas are the blue and daytona silvers

Now for 04 plus there is for real pace cars silver and orange

You can call it a clone. Same thing with the gtx. Just because you can get the parts does t mean slp put them on.
