• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I never really "put the pedal to the metal" until a few minutes ago......CRAP! I hope my boy doesn't do it.......

This car goes from zero to HOLY CRAP in about 3 seconds........actually, I think it was more like 1.5 seconds...........

wanna have some fun? go out and foot brake it till the turbo spools up nice and full, then let the brakes go and mash it lol

you think? How in the world do you not know if you have a turbo grand prix? Like... they never came that way? What am I missing here??!!

he bought it modded. its a gtp, maybe or maybe not a l67 bottom end, with a 7 psi turbo set up.

the fact it was sold with spare parts and it had a n/a head along with it says something.

HAHAHA! I just bought a "2k rust bucket" for my son to drive back and forth to school..........I knew it had some extra crap on it, but.........HOLY CRAP.

Now I understand why one guy said "who buys there 17 YO a turbo GP?"

your running l67 heads, the one head in that sell or not sell post was a n/a head and valve covers. so who knows if its a top swapped n/a block or not? you cant tell from the outside.

if you put it to the metal, your son has too...lets be honest

I strongly suggest you take him out to the Walmart parkinglot one night and let him spool it up. If not, he may sadly torque steer that monster with smoke billowing from the wheels on a narrow street, and something will go seriously sideways on you...

You should make a video of your son flooring it for the first time lol

Not a bad idea. I asked him before he left foe school this morning if he's been keeping his foot out of it. He said "yes dad, I don't want to hurt it!"

I guess I ought to let you know, my son is VERY motivated student with constant honor roll grades and a desire to be an investment banker. Fast cars don't interest him in the least. I can't even get him to spend time in the garage wrenching on it....

That's a good idea. It kind of torque steered on me last night. Not too much, but enough that he ought to know what it feels like.
