Historic winter storm...



I've got lots of vacation. I went into work this morning and said I would be taking Tuesday and Wednesday off. I'm sleeping in.
 
I want to at least make it to work tomorrow, so on the way home i can grab a 30 pack and have it to drink all day Wednesday if needed. Then I can just take the day off and drive the tractor around all day moving snow and alcohol through my system.

Needless to say this was an epic failure. I got about half way down the drive and lost my ass and went all the way down and lost all the salt out of my spreader. Needless to say I was pissed. I got the broom and flung the salt as far up the drive as I could.

i was on my way home from a viewing earlier ironically enough. everything was cool, and then i hit a nice little rain cloud, and my windsheild was frozen over in about 7 seconds. it was really cool to watch until i realized i couldn't see the road and the guy in front of me slowed down to 35. i already have classes cancelled tomorrow, who knows about the funeral service. i'm off wednesday, and who knows about thursday. i'm supposed to have classes all day
 
the highway was pretty clear. i was doing 50 mph. why is everyone scared of a couple inches of snow?
 
We arnt supposed to get slammed until tonight. Last night we got 2 inches I was doing 50 the whole way to work on the e-way (40 miles) only hit a few slick spots. Not sure what to expect tonight
 


we are supposed to start the 'blizzard' warning around 3PM. we'll see how bad it gets. it's gonna take a hell of a lot of snow to stop me from going to work tomorrow though.
 
Yeah our bilzzard warning starts at like 7pm.. let me know how it goes bio the wind here is already really bad even the 2 in we got this morning were blowing a ton. And for me not so much I dont want my hour drive to turn into a 2.5 hour drive... Ill easily stay home plus our whole office might close
 
yeah only had about 3 inches this morning, but yet saw numerous front wheel drive small cars off the road... makes no sense...

Those people cant drive... Or they are the JackA*** that are in the left lane of the E-way still doing 70... learn to drive for conditions and you ill be fine
 
yeah i mean most of the people that are in cleveland have lived here for a decent amount of time and should be more the used to this weather...
 


65 on ze highway to work. peoria salted the roads pretty good.

we'll see in about a half hour what this storm is about. keep that ice **** south, we dont want none.
 
LOL We have 19 inches on the ground now and IF we get all the 22 inches + they say we a gettin its going to be interesting to see what happens. I gave the guys tommorrow off.

IF ANYONE HAS A CAMERA TO RECORD THE SNOW FALL ON YOUR BACK POURCH OR FRONT YARD SET IT UP AND POST IT WHEN IT IS ALL OVER WITH.
