Historic winter storm...

midwest will pry get HALF of what they're calling for.

last storm they said 6-9"

we got 2.

the east coast on the other hand.. have fun LOL.

I can say for most of the midwest thats true... but that stupid lake effect crap hits us rather hard here in MI (unless it moves from the south )

u guys have had your fair share of snow this year from what my CT friends tell me.. i lived up there for 7 years. dont miss the snow at all.

Yeah we have been breaking some records from the 1950's and such, but in reality none of the storms have really caused a problem for more than a day.

My front yard is pretty level to the driveway in the summer. Currently in front of the house itself is about five feet high and that lasts about ten feet into the yard. On the other side of the driveway I've got another 5-7 feet of the same, however there's still a good bit of space to put more.

Tonight I believe I'll be on the roof shoveling, just in case all this heavy crap arrives. If you guys don't see me online tomorrow, please come pry me outta the snow bank I fell into.

where im at were suppose to get 1-3 tonight, freezing rain tomorrow morning then followed by another 12-15 tomorrow afternoon. I dont think any grand prix has the clearance to deal with this crap. If its up to my bumper im going back to bed tomorrow the hell with my work I dont wanna get stuck in this crap and I work out of town in a small town called Mt Joy and they suck at taking care of the roads near me. God I miss my Silverado.

I agree it looks good but in some places its not practicle :P I would love to bring mine down a little but theres also some rail road crossings here I wouldnt clear at all

email to my boss:

My AWD car doesn't go through snow well. I'll have to stay at home and sleep all day instead.

his response:

No problem. Just work 11 hour days Wed - Fri and we'll be all square.

my response back:

Just kidding,

I'll be the guy who tries to get here, but tries to get here on time. So instead of at home you'll find me in the ditch off the side of Hwy 45.

jokes and jokes and jokes.

I'm so glad I live in Michigan, where I will be driving to work in a foot of snow, on either a bent steelie, or a donut. WOOT.

already got 3-4in. in some places and not sure how much more.

and whats with all this talk about ground clearance?????????

Im guessing half of you have never driven in snow before. its a GRAND PRIX, it plows through anything. I've already taken mine through 10in of snow and 2 foot tall snow drifts and it does perfectly fine. Turn TCS off and have at it.

not getting anything yet. i cant wait for that 20in + snow.

thunder snow wednesday, woot!

reading this thread is seriously getting my hopes up!!! To bad I only live 4.6 miles from work, shoulda never told'em I moved.
