• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

LOL I really want to know the PHD's here :th_biggrin2: :th_mischievious:

Myself I graduated from the University Of Louisville with my BS in Criminal Justic and Minor in Criminal Law (the thoughts of Law School didnt appeal to me, I dont like suits) and then worked as a Police Officer for St. Louis University's Campus Police in Downtown St. Louis City supporting St. Louis City Police for 8 years. I started my 2nd BS in Computer Science at the University and completed my MCSE at SLU and then left the PD in 2000 to start my IT career where I work for Thomson Reuters now as a Central Systems Operations Controller. In layman terms I insure that data from the World's stock exchanges makes its way to our systems and then out to our customers around the globe :)

Now for those PHDs here................:th_sick1:

bio how old r u? me 38 now that's getting there.

im 24. i own a house, a new car, and have a good job finally. i just graduated in may of 08. i feel that my education has lead me to good places and id like to keep it that way. thank god i got the hookup with this job or id still be unemployed (for the second time this year).

i know what u mean. started as a student at the hospital been here for 1.5 yrs and in jan. there hiring me fulltime, can;t wait. those are great accomplishments especially for your age. i learned the hard way that u gotta go to school. i think my kids are learning that an education is the way to go. i've done every kind of job, school is where one should start at.

yeah, i have hopes to not be poor within a few years. at the moment im still just scraping by because i like to buy toys with whatever leftover money i have.

ditto. i try to encourage people to go to school. i've bit, scratched my way thru as well as my wife has. there is someting better out there. u gotta go freakin get it!
