Higher stall (2500) really needed?

So I have about 15k on my stock converter now. Using a s1x cam. I'm going to a s3 cam and it says I need a 2500 or performs well with one.
I brake torque the car today and it stalls around 2400/2500 rpm?

its daily. I don't brake torque my launches. And I don't want it cause any poor side effects like sluggish lower rpm driving.
Do I need it ? Would it make that much of a difference? It's hard to wrap my mind around it.
Thanks

You most likely won't notice a difference. I would keep your stock converter. With the m90, I don't really believe you can have too low of a stall.

If you go with a lower-stall converter than recommended, you'll just have a bit more dead space in your torque curve before the engine wakes up and comes to life.

To me, that's no big deal and I prefer the efficiency of a lower-stall converter, but if you need optimal track performance then you might want to change to the recommended converter.
