high rpms when started

most of the time when i start my car it will rev really high 2500-3000 rpm some times 2000rpm. but then it drops down and stalls (not everytime but more then sometimes

then on other start ups it starts like normal 1000-1100 rpm then drops down to around 800rpm

any thoughts on the source to the problem. its a 97 gp gt
 


throttle body gunked up.

vacuum leak.

IAC gunked up.

MAF sensor dirty.



its something with the throttle body or a vacuum leak.
