High Pitched squeal after pads and rotors

When I did a brake job a month back I changed my rotors and used ceramic pads. Now under light braking (like stopping at a stop sign in a neighborhood) I get a very high pitched squeal. Brake a little harder and its gone. Took off and inspected the rotors and pads and they are wearing great and look great. Its so high pitched I cant tell where its coming from.

Whats the deal?

could be doing that if you bent one of the little squealer thingers in. just a thought.

Look at the calipers and see if there are signs of leakage (GUNK). If the calipers freeze up they can "remain engaged" until a sudden change in pedal pressure, releases them (or even NOT). Unfortunately "rebuild" or "replace" the calipers is your only option. Check it out. This happen to me. Great breaking now.

Here is a link to some A1Cardone rebuilts < $50 bucks each (this is the front driver side, same site for the others)
1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix Brake Caliper - A1 Cardone - Front, Driver Side, Friction choice, Phosphate-coated

Hope this helps someone.

No signs of leakage or seizing. Since its getting colder I keep my windows up and my radio louder. Problem solved.
