I have a 97 GTP that after driving it for a little while the idle wont come down, if I cycle the ignition off and back on it goes back to normal. Second when driving the tranny will on shift when it gets to a certain speed. From 1st to 2nd its around 32mph. if you never reach that speed it wont drop a gear, like if your coasting at 25 it wont shift to second. The trans shift fine when it does shift. Im not sure not sure if the problems are related or not, but thats why I put them both under the same post.
