• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So we can quit the arguing in the chat, everyone post up your temps & pics.

uhh... I don't what I want now.. 6k or 5k.. I don't wanna get something not white enough like 5 or something too blue like 6.

when i leave work i'll get a straight shot of my lights for you, those side pics are kinda blah and show the blue too much.

Want me to take one of my parents RL on the same door? Its got factory HID's, probably 4300-5000 K effective colour temp.

I'll be waiting for pics but what temp is the ones on the Acura? I remember you said earlier it was a really low temp but looks like it has a tint of blue to it?

The standard temp for the 01 rl xenons is 3800. There are silverstar 4000 replacements for them. My ultras are 4300s.

Huh? Xenons? Nearly all car manufacturers use 4300K HID's. Are you talking about halogens? Silverstar ultra's are a halogen bulb, NOT HID.

i run 8000k hids because i like the blue, as for people that say 4300 is the best, the GP headlights suck, so might as well look good while im barely lighting up the road :D
