Hey everybody, recently, i've been looking at the HID headlights that are making their way around town. I know wbodystore has them in stock, but they seem very low priced. I took my 05' GP GT up to the local "custom car shop" and they wanted $700 for HID's in my car, but i'm still probably going to get them from wbodystore.

Has anybody else ordered them from there? If so, please post pictures of your car with the HID's in, and tell me how many K's yours are.

I've been looking at either 4300k, 6000k or 8000k. I don't want them too outrageously blue though.

Also, for those of you that have done the install yourselves, on a scale from 1-10 how easy is it to install them? Any pointers? Please let me know!! :)

As many pix as possible would be awesome. Thanks guys!

I have 5000K in my 2000, 2001 LOVE THEM! I bought these from the Wbodystore a few years back. I just had to replace the wimpy 10amp fuses that come with them to a 20amp. after 2 years of owning them I had a ballast go bad for one of my foglights. bought a spare from ebay and it works again!

I have 6000K in the S10. more blue tint but still as bright as the 5000K, I bought this kit off ebay for 60 shipped. have never had a problem.

HID's are very easy to wire in. I'm not sure of the differences between 2004+ and before but you buy a wiring kit and then the HID's and its all plug and play. I love my HIDS I wish the pattern of are head lights was better but the light output is amazing in comparison

depends what you want. i went with 6000K because they look cool as crap. if i was concerned about seeing more, i would have went with 4300K since that is pure white.

overall every kit is pretty much the same. they are all fairly plug and play, you just have to decide where you want to mount the ballasts. i just zip tied them to the front bumper support.

6000k is what I have. Great visibility at night and most describe them as "arctic white". During the day there is a blue tinge to them.

i also bought mine from ebay for 60 bucks, still goin its almost a year!! they are 8000k in both!! like the other guys said they are not hard to install.

Very cool. Right now I'm leaning towards the 6000k's. Would you guys recommend the upgraded wire harness? Does anybody have a GP 04-08 GP with HID's? If so, please post a pic!!

I have had 4300K and 6000K. I ended up with 5000K. I recommend you get the upgraded harness. I run them in both of my cars. I got my harness from 3bspec.

So does anybody know a reliable source for these lights? I've heard good things about wbodystore, but does anybody else know a good place? If you've gotten yours somewhere else, and they are holding up nicely, let me know by PM.

Thanks!

but they are literally all the same unless you go with a really good brand name, which isnt really worth it since they all work just the same. the part that counts is the harness. make sure you have a good one of those.

I'm interested in these too BillyB.

Please let me know what you come across and where you pick them up from.

I will do the same as I continue to look around.

2005SS...Those look great, and your fog lights look sweet.

Alright guys, my buddy just showed me a link to get some good HID's, at a good price. He is a member of the Ford fusion forum, and there was a thread identical to this one.

The link to the store that he got them from is: XENON EXPERT

Also, if you have a newer Grand Prix, you will have to buy the warning code eliminator, or else your display will constantly say that you have a headlight out.

I don't know about you guys, but that would drive me up a ****ing wall.

Well, let me know what you guys think.

As you check out, my buddy said that there would be an option for the upgraded wiring.
