HID's for projectors

So I got new projectors but unfortunately I got the 9007 HID kit from DDM Tuning for our stock headlights. So I'm obviously returning that kit. On the back of the projectors I got it says H1 in both of the headlight openings. So I will need to get 2 HID kits, one for each head light for high and low? Also does anyone happen to know if the H1 kit comes with that 3 prong connector to our grand prix harness or is it different? Thanks a bunch guys/girls!

Which Projectors did you get? Post a link so we can better tell you which kit to get.

I know the Spyder Projectors use an H1 for low beam and a (9005?) for high beam.

The Dash Z ones say both are H1's but the low beam is in fact an H3 bulb. The high beam is an H1 bulb.

You don't NEED to get two HID kits. Usually, it's bad for the ballast to have it turn on and off quickly which is what you would be doing if you got an HID kit for you high beams. Plus some people have said with low beam HID's, for some reason their high beams don't work.

The HID kit will come with a positive and negative wire. Check the original bulbs and you will see that there are two wires coming out of them. The wire leading to the bulb is the positive. The other wire is the negative. Hook these up to your HID kit and you should be set.

dnt get 2 HID kits, just get 1 kit for the lows. y would you want them for high beams? i never use highs because my low beam HID kit was so bright. if you get an HID kit with only 1 filiment you will need to modify the harness it comes with to make the high beams work too.
