So I picked up a 98 GT basically for free today. It needs a little work (front end) but my first question is:

What are your thoughts about HID kits off ebay? Are they as easy as they say? Just plug n' play? Thanks in advance!

Just saw that. A lot of older posts. Maybe there are newer kits out? Are any of them as easy as plug and play? If so, which one?
 


Did you measure from the flange that sits vertical when the bulb is installed to the centre of the filament? Was it 1.75" exactly? If so, then you win.
 
Didnt go that in depth I am swapping in projectors soon anyways, but for the op they where plug and play and better than stock, yes you can tweek them and make the great, but they should work fine for the op.
 
what year is your car? You need a 9007 bulb. I have ddm hids in my 2001 PONTIAC grand prix, make does not matter a bulb is a bulb.
