Hey fellas im new, just got the ddm tuning conv kit 35w 6000k, my question is, do i need to pull the drl diode? And where exactly is it (i've read that it's located in the driver side panel) but i still can't find it.
Is it safe to use electrical grease on the connections?
Also have any of you installed interior leds? How do you like it and where can i find them for a decent price?
Any known problems that i will encounter? Any help or tips are appreciated

yes you need to pull the diode thing, its got head sink around it and its right inside the panel on the drivers side of the dash theres only one connector you can see and thats the one you need to pull
there really stright forward, plug and play
just post in here with any problems you may have

I don't see it i've looked for it and looked for it i dont see it i may be overlooking it. All i see is a black plastic box with two harnesses connected to it

if so im not 100% sure on those were it is, i was thinking of 97-03's
sorry, i guess i should have read you name before hand

I think in some of the newer GM cars the DRL module may be located in or near the under hood fuse box. Let us know if you find it.
