As long as I dont run into Justin. I have not had much luck with that guy for sure!!! But YES Mike is good people to deal with!
I want to try the fuse swap this weekend and see what happens. After I will goto Mike and try and tastefully explain the situation
And if all else fails? I will drag you into it Lee :th_laugh-lol2:

are the fuses the mini plug in or just the regular sized ato plugin? there are extra mini plug in fuses in the underhood fuse box... should be a 15 in there...

They are your run of the mill regular sized Fuses, not the little mini fuses, at least from what I can tell. I am gonna out tomorrow and do more of a close up inspection and then hit Autostoned or O'Riellys to get some extra 15s. I need some anyways. I cant find my old stach I use to have of them. So I guess it's time to restock

For those wanting to know the set up I have. Here are pictures to be see my setup for my HIDs.

The driver side only had the Wiring Harness's power line running directly into the Ballast. There is no relay wire like on the passanger side.

I still believe it's just low quality ballasts, I wonder if you can buy just the ballasts somewhere

That is what Aaron, Chris and I were discussing after fixing the fuse issue on my car. I think though first I am gonna contact Mike at WBody to see what he has to say about it. They are not even a year old and they doing this? I hope that maybe he see's my point in all of this.
We will see.
I know there are people on eBay who sell ballasts seperate from the HIDs, but its matter or quality obviously

you know, now that you mention it, Mine is always the drivers side. Before I put the delay switch and the wiring harness it was both sides, and sometimes both lights would not come on. I put the delay switch in first and that helped ALOT, Then added the harness, and it appears that have helped some, but not really sure. Mine will not come on about once a week, and its always the drivers side.
Im going to try to get out there in the near future and swap the balast, as that may be the problem with mine.

I contacted WBody, NOW CALLED WBS Performance, and Justin replied last night asking me to switch the ballasts to see if its the ballast or what? I am personally thinking it is the ballast. I am not sure where they got their stock from, but when you get a ballast with NO information.....It makes you kinda wonder......Ya know?
I will try and to that in the next day or two to see what happens.

i have this same problem as well. i had mine professionaly installed and mine flicker. im told its because of the day time running lights. you havta order a "special" wire for them but im not sure exactly what they call it. a bmw wire kit i think. i just turn my head lights on during the day other wise the drl's just look like strobes.

i dont think this is the issue they're having, but i do agree that DRL's would likely cause issues, since they run @ a lower voltage.

I would agree with Toasty on this one.
Our issue involves what might possibly be bad ballasts not being able to create enough voltage to spark the igniter in the ballast to activate the HIDs. At Justin's suggestion, I switched my ballasts yesterday and the flickering is now in the left side, which would indicate a bad ballast, but still both lights are failing to come on at the same time when the car starts up.
Its to the point where, even with the new wiring harassness providing more than adequate power, the lights wont come on at all at the initial start up. And I have to hit the HIGH BEAM to get them to kick on or turn the head light knob to get them work. Its really frustrating.
Hopefully Wbody will work with me in getting this issue resolved. So I think they have done a good job in trying to assist. But I think the blame lies with the quality of the ballast used in the kit both Chris and I got.
And the "professional installer's" solution for your issue sounds fishy at best. No offense. Are you running an aftermarket wiring harnass with your HIDs? Or are you running off the factory wiring?? If you are running off the factory wiring, I would suggest that you look at getting an aftermarket wiring kit.
Here is a link to mine. I like the quality of it and the price was fairly reasonable as compared to some! And the some of the others, have really shoddy craftsmanship if you ask me.

Hey Geddy....Any luck yet? Did the switch arrive? You know in the last week, I have paid close attention to when I start the car. It has worked perfectly. If you have not installed the switch yet, try this first.
When I start my car, I put the key in and roll it right to start (this is where on the odd occasion the drivers side light would not lite up).
For the last week, I have put the key in, turned it to on and waited about a second, then went to start, and every time its worked fine. I don't know if its the switch or if its the way I started the car.
I can tell you this. That switch will work every time, however I noticed when I was setting the delay on all the ones I shipped out that if the trigger comes in to start the delay, IF there is another trigger within the 5 sec (which is how long I set the switch to keep the lights off) it can cause the switch to turn on the lights prematurely.
So basically here is the deal...
The headlights on signal triggers the delay switch, and the switch will kill power to the headlights for 5 seconds (or whatever you set it to).
If another headlights on signal comes in at say 3 sec, every once and a while it will over ride the switch and cause it to turn the lights on. Will this hurt anything....No not at all, its just an explanation of what could happen maybe 1 out of 100 times.
The reason I set it to a 5 sec delay is because by the time I hit the remote to unlock the door, get in the car and get the key in, its about 5 sec. I then go to start the car and let it warm up a bit (usually way more than 5 sec) the lights are on when I am ready to go.
