HID flickering... is this normal?

I just installed my HID's... when i turn them on they flicker for a little, then it stops... is this normal for when you first turn them on?
 


idk, someone told me that they always flicker a little, you can barely see if you tried, but if it goes away soon, i would say its normal.
 
if you mean the harness no it didnt. its almost like a strobe light but its only for like 20 seconds then its like normal hid's
 
I run a relay harness to avoid any flickering and ensure the HID ballasts get the proper turn on voltage. I recommend you look into one.
