HiD conversion in Spyder Headlight 2006 Grand Prix

I have Spyder projector lights in my 06 Grand Prix - Bulbs called for are H1 - When trying to install these in the Spyder Lights they are about a 1/2 inch too long - Anybody had similar problem with these and suggestions on a bulb size would be greatly appreciated - Contacted Spyder who offered little help .....more accurately NO help !!!

Do you have a picture comparing the two bulbs side by side? I've never really seen people have problems with length mostly having to trim them some to accept an HID bulb.
