• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

hi there !!

welcome to the forum, (snowing here in ohio,) ha'ha' join the guys and gals here, their a good bunch of people.

need help with finding out about the noise coming from my engine. I had the intake manifiold gasket replacet and 2 day after my oil pressure droped, changed the oil pump but there is still a noise in the engine. One mechanic said that I have bad lifters , other one said "no, that's deep in the engine , not lifters". Went back to the guy and he said he's sure that the lifterds are bad and he's willing to change them and don't charge me if the sound its still there. Just hope I do not have to replace the engine like one mechanic said

lots of snowbirds down there now, i know my sister goes to kissimmie for couple months. enjoy the site, not too many on here, must be workin or partying.

does the noise sound like tick or knock? Knocking would be in the bottom end so maybe connecting rod bearings. A tick would be more like lifters.

Maybe that might help.

But anyways welcome.
