I currently drive a 2000 gp gt coupe. My transmission shifts perfectly until my trans warms up. Any ideas on problem?

Every gear hard shift and if I give it gas it will shake entire car before it shifts.(shakes only at higher rpm) I checked my trans fluid color its good. Does not smell burnt. And the level is perfect

Soungs like the problem my last GP had. Turned out to be a solenoid in the transmission. When the trans takes longer to shift than it expects it will shift at max pressure until the car is shut off. Next time you start it, you will get normal shifts until a long shift is detected and then the problem is back. If I remember right, the code was P1811.

I had a trans shop do it and had it rebuilt. I was planning on keeping that car for a while, but got rear ended and totalled it. The solenoid isn't that expensive, but they said you had to pull the trans to replace it so the labor was high. I think I've seen people on here say it can be done in the car if you know what you're doing.

is it posibble to change the pressure controll solenoid in my 2000 gp gt without a car lift or should i take it too a shop i have 2 years school experience and a haynes manual for my car but dont really have the cash right now too take it too a shop too get it fixed because i leave for the serviced in a month but need the car running for my fiance while im gone. any suggestions? any help would be greatly appreciated thankss
