Hi all,

I am a new driver of an 08 GP GXP. I've actually owned it for a couple years but it was my wifes DD. After having LOTS of problems with my Trailblazer SS, we decided to trade it in on an Enclave for her and now I'm driving the GP.

I have been lurking and found that there is not much aftermarket support for these cars unfortunately.

I will post several questions in other parts of the site...Hopefully some of you will be able to point me in the right direction.

BTW, if anyone has questions about audio, I have been into car audio for 20+ yrs and can hopefully help out in that realm.

I was pondering about getting a TBSS AWD or Wrangler 4D for a winter beater. What problems did you have with yours??

In the 2 years I owned the TBSS it was at the dealer 9 times. Let's see.... ECM died, bad brand new Goodyear tire when i first got it, shimmy at speeds over 70, radio would have a loud squeel out of rear speakers, plus a bunch more. It still had 1 yr of warranty left but I'd have to do tires and brakes in that time so I figured I'd just dump it. Got an Enclave for the wife.

On the other hand, we have had no problems with the GP and the more I drive it, the more I like it. I just picked up a Magnaflow exhaust on craigslist for it at a smokin deal. I plan to get the k&n intake as well. The car will get a nice sound system over the coming months as well.

The car is exactly like the white GXP at the top of this page.

Let me know of anything else easy I can do to this thing. I have had Camaros, an 11 sec Grand National, TBSS,etc, so I'm used to fast cars. It doesn't look like theres much of an aftermarket for these cars?

I'm definitely not used to the torque steer on it. Any input would be helpful. Thanks!
