ok this weekend i am going to start slowly modding my car. this weekends project is the cold intake valve. now i need info please, i read around the forums that you can make one. that seems cool but really not my thing. so can i just go to auto zone and grab one? which one would i need? is it simple to install? will i need any particular tools?:confused:.
 


oh boy.

Go to autozone, go to the air filter section, get a spectre air filter and thats all youll need (pick you fav color)

then open your hood. remove the stock air box/piping and place the pcm (computer lookin thing) in the fender (where i have mind) then once you have all that removed take your new air filter bolt it on to the throttle body and tighten it down. then take the IAT sensor and zip tie it across the base of the filter.

Bam! youre done and will have a sweet sounding whining noise when you get into boost.
