• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hey there

AZGXP

New member
Just picked up an 06 Grand Prix GXP. I live in Southern AZ and work for the US Border Patrol. Just wanted to see who else was out there with similar cars. I have previously owned a couple of Chevy trucks, a Nissan 350Z, a VW Jetta and now a GXP. Love the car so far and am looking forward to modding it in the future!!

offroadfury6, if you have any questions about the BP before you apply, I'll do my best to answer them...I have worked for the BP for 9 years and I can honestly say that I love my job...most days. We just had an Agent killed in the line of Duty Saturday in California...I don't know him but RIP brother!!

Also, thank you for your service for the United States and your work in protecting our freedoms!!!

Welcome, and I am interested to find out what you think of your GXP compared to the Z? And DiDDo on the border!!!!! :)

I think that the GXP, stock for stock might be quicker then the Z, but the Z does handle a little better, being a sports car and all (I don't want to speculate until I have a chance to "kill" one). My Jetta was a little faster from 60 up, but that's what a turbo and a lot of mods will do (especially at 4600ft elevation), faster, but kills reliability. I think that the GXP, given a few "easy" mods will be a barn burner...intake, exhaust, computer, and maybe cams and forced induction down the road. You really have to love having a reliable V8 and not a little 4cyl under the hood. There really is no replacement for displacement...I just took me a while to figure that out!
