Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I am giving my Prix to my wife and I need to make sure the axle will not break again. For the past two years I have replaced my passenger axle three times and it also starts with the axle boot splitting apart. I just got the transmission rebuilt and they told me the axles are breaking because the car has too much power. The car is lowered with 17non low profiles. Allot of the time I do drive like a bat out of hell, but I always drove like that with no problems.

What do you guys think could be the real issue or should I get the ZZP axles to replace the stock ones?

Sounds like a bad motor mount is causing the problem to me. If you replace it consider going with a solid mount if you get on the throttle a lot.:th_thumbsup-wink:

I just saw the lowered part, if you are lowered you probably need the “short” dog bones.

ya shorter dogbones will put the axels close to where they were stock, but lowering the car throws their alignment outta wack

I have hardened dog bones and tranny mount. I have a good engine mount, just changed it. so out of ideas?
The only reason why i may disagree with the lowered part is that my other prix that has more power "better lowering springs" never broken axle.

well in a couple of weeks i am going to put stock struts and springs back on the car,we will see if that solves the problem with the axles.
