Here I go again, suspension upgrade

Ok guys what do I need? So far my shopping list is

KYB AGX Struts
Rear strut Brace
BMR Trailing Arms
Eibach Springs
BMR Rear Lat arms
BMR Forward Lat arms
SLP sway bars

What else should I do while I am at it? :th_scratchhead:

Also Brake upgrade is being done, just havent decided on best route to take, and have been tossing around if I should go 18" or 20" rims. Advice on rim size?

I personally have..............

AGX Struts
New ZZP bought strut mounts both front and rear
SSC Gen II Springs (I like the SSC's cause of their no sag lifetime garuntee) And I had them on my old 98 GT and I loved how they handled and the drop was not drastic.

And wish list still in progress....

WBody's rear lateral arms
BMR or the eBay knock off Trailer Arms
GMPP Handling Kit (eveything else is just to darn expensive)
Moog ends for the rear suspension
Energy Suspension front sway bar and end link bushings

As for the brakes I just went with 12" caliper bracket upgrade and used R1 Concept 12" rotors with Posiquiet Ceramic Pads. Eventually I will go for some PBR dual piston aluminum calipers and some stainless steel brake lines.

As for the rims, personally I would stick with 18's. Anything bigger or wider you are gonna run the chance of rubber your outter part of your fender and you will then be force to roll your lips on the rear fenders. I am running my TSW Mondellos and Turazo 245/45/18 tires and I dont have an issue with rubbing.

have you ridden in a car with eibach springs? i have them. they ride like crap.

they give a mean stance, dont get me wrong. they just are very stiff and your front end will feel like your taking on a curb in some pothole and bump situations.

B & G was my first choice but seems everyone is always saying eibach eibach. Glad to hear from people who have rode in an eibach equiped car.
I dont mind a rough ride. The stance and look is important as well. I am glad to get some responce. I posted on the otehr forum and not one person added to the thread. Seems over there posting about NON GP stuff on the other topic forum is a priority for members.
Thanks guys for your advice and opinions, much appreciated!!:th_thumbsup-wink:

This is my 2k with B&G's with my 18"s. I did have sping blockers in the back due to tire rubbing over some big bumps. Also these were mounted to KYB GR-2s at the time the only upgraded shocks.

For Suspension i had Next Level Sway bars, Gr-2s struts, B&G springs, front and rear STB, and my 18*8 wheels :)
LEt jsut say i have a pic some where of this but my front STB started to bend into a V in the middle. Dame i missed that stiff suspension. Road good then hugged the road when you through it around corners

ill give you an eibach stance picture. they are nice, but the ride is something else. the help with handling pretty well too.

here is my car on stock wheels:

Nice Bio! Looks sweet!

Thanks toofastgs, I show the car so thats why I care about looks but number one is handling. Thats why I am posting up for advice from guys like you and Bio.
I like to take curves and the stock GTP suspension is way too weak for my taste.

Thanks! What exactly is in the GMPP handling kit?

The GMPP comes with the following:

Front heavy duty sway bar
Rear heavy duty sway bar
Front tower strut brace, and you can put in the rear if you get Vinnie's holders for it.
Solid rear trailing arms, though the BMR's or the eBay knock offs would be a better choice.

Here is my old 98 with the SSC Gen II springs. Its a nice drop, but not crazy and they held up rather well. I have them on my new GTX, but only the front currently so these pictures better represent the whole package :)

Plus they have a lifetime no sag garuntee. You really can't beat them personally. :th_thumbsup-wink:
