I have a 99 pontiac grand prix gt 3.8
My problem its that when i drive the engine chokes and then sometime it stalls. i have already changed all the sensors, MAP, MAF, TPS PCV valve, IDLE CONTROL VALVE, ALL 6 injectors, new fuel filter, new spark plugs, Intake manifold gaskets, and already clean the throtle body. but IT still gives me the problem, some said its a vacuum leak, or a short in the wire harness. Please anyone HELP!:th_yawning:
 


do you think this causes the choke and then stalls? I brought the cps two weeks ago but its kind of hard to loose the nut in the pulley so thats why i did not changed it yet, but i would try. THANKS!
 
Well on my old 97 GTP I was sitting at stop light and the rpms would be a little jumpy and then it would stall on me. It stalled twice and then the SES light went on and found out it was the CPS. I didnt have the tools at the time to change it so I took it the shop with a CPS that I bought online and had them do it form $80 bucks. IF you dont want to do it I would try a local shop they can do it pretty cheap.
